For me, I would like to go on a cruise in the northern seas and to see the Midnight Sun. I would like to be alone. I would read my books. I would drink liquor and coffee. I would have breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon (or corned beef) on buttered toast. I would just do nothing much in particular but just think.

I would like a cruise on a luxury liner. Nothing beats waking up to a wide variety of food and hot coffee. After breakfast, I would head to the pool for a leisurely swim to burn off the calories. Then a dip at the hot jacuzzi whilst taking in the pretty sights and scenery.

Lunch would be next. A good selection of international fare that guarantees to satisfy the most fussy soul. I would top off my lunch with a hearty dessert and then go laze at the deck to continue my reading and take a short nap.

That would be my ideal morning.

If money was no object, my dream holiday wld be to rent/buy a convertible like Alfa Spyder or BMW Z4 and tour the whole of Europe with the top down in the spring time for 2 months. Catching some F1 races along the way. Get on the Autostrada and cruise at 250kmh for a solid hour, and take it to the Nurburgring for a spin.

Then do the whole trip all over again on a Harley, staying some extra weeks at the South of France in summer! kekeke :D

Nice boat, and that sounds lovely!

But I think if it was for me, sitting in a boat no matter how luxurious or big for more than a few days with nothing do to except swim, fish, eat and read books wld drive me up the MAST and go nuts. LOL :D :D

But hv any of u guys really tried for more than a week on a boat/yatch? How do u know it wld be something u'll love to do for a solid week/month/season? I can't imagine it... No offence to anyone :)

A few days maybe ok for me, but who knows, maybe cruising for months to nowhere wld appeal to me when i get older and wiser ... :) For now, I think I wld ask the captain to step on it to get to the next destination quickly :p

You need lots of luck to get on the right cruise. More often than not, retired couples outnumber attractive singles. Unless that's your fancy, of course. :D

Commercial cruises are different leh, u'll gain a lot of weight if u keep eating those all u can eat 8 meal per days, hahahaha :eek:

Depending on sheer luck and forking out money for a cruise hoping to have unattached men and women is just like gambling in Genting. You may need to use your ingenuity and expertise to plan.

I don't know about cruises here or even holiday packages here (I think you did mention China in one of your posts) but in Singapore they do have holiday packages based on age groups. This makes good sense because the needs of the holiday-makers can be better taken care of. Even for simple reasons such as walking and climbing hundreds of steps to see some ancient cities, for example, the old and elderly may not be able to do it and thus the tours are designed differently etc.

Ahhh .. s'gpore hv already group ppl by their age to travel together huh .. but here in M'sia as we can see .. most of the time during matta fair .. be it young & old also will juz come crowding in for the same place of tour .. they blend.

First destination would be Fiji. Stay in one of those water suites with a spiral staircase that leads straight into the sea. In the evenings, we'd enjoy a beautiful candlelight dinner on the balcony, while sipping champagne. The floors would all be made of glass so that we can see the sea below us - Fishes swimming by, corals etc... :)
