On my way to work this morning, I saw a black dog, probably a cocker spaniel. It had longish wavy black fur. (It could be a cross breed.) It had a short tail. He was spotted at the inner road between USJ3 and USJ4 - near the large playround/field.

I believe this could be someone's lost pet, as it had a chain around its neck. The poor thing has probably been lost for some time oredi because there was a large sore/wound around its right eye/head area. It also looked pretty thin.

Drove home last nite and decided to look out for the dog your were talking bout. Found it near some housing area behind fatty ho.

Felt so saddened as the dog has a large wound, covering 3/4 of his head and could see the skull abit, as big as a 50 sen coin X 2 size.

Brought it to the vet, vet couldn't assertain what had happened to him, but guess someone might have poured hot water or something on him. The wound is full of pus... whoever did that was surely inhumane!!!! ....the good doctor is taking care of the dog for 1 week to make sure the wound heal... complete healing of the wound would prob take 1 month. The good doc is only charging me for the medicine... God bless him, me really tight financially this month... tot it would be more than couple of hundred... ;) Me gonna house the dog... i don't think the owner did care for the dog too..sorry to say that but for a 2 year old dog to even have an untreated cataract... sigh... the dog is so young to have cataract.. prob malnutrished...

But whatever is it...i am glad that the lil one is now in good hands... and definitely will be loved by me, my housemate & friends... :D

Bless you Mel&Sun. We certainly need more people like you around! Does your post mean, you'll be adopting him? He's really a lucky dog!

I'm ashamed to say, that I didn't bother to go that extra mile to look out for him and bring him to the vet. Feeling kesian is not enough, we need to act ......that's something I certainly need to work on.

If you're tight, I'll be happy to chip in for his medication. I also have a spare collar (looks like a lampshade - to prevent scratching) if you need that. Let me know.

Hi All... Just an update..

In & i, together with my godma visited Midnight (or should i name it Mid-Knight) :D yesterday evening. In... very glad to know you. :)

Midnight/ Mid-Knight  is fine... doc say he's been crying alot.. Let him out of the cage.. he was so manja... when we put him into the cage again, he was again crying... never have i heard of such pitiful cry from a dog... :(

He should be fine, Doc is gonna keep him for 1 week to ensure his wound heals well. Doc stitched his wound... but couldn't stitch all cos not enough skin to cover... His head is bandaged. Took some pics of him, me forgot to bring my camera cable to work, will post it tomorrow. My godma say should have taken the pic of the wound on the day i found him... gosh... me couldn't even bring myself to eat or sleep that nite.. not becos it's gross but because of saddened emotion...

Will update more soon... :) For those who prayed along with me... thank you for praying. God bless you!

I wish you all the joy that comes with owning a dog - by the way I just picked up a stray pup that had met with an accident. She looks like a german shepherd mix - very big puppy for 5 months - she 's recuperating in my house now back from her stay in the hospital - if you know anyone caring enough to want her , please do let me know.

I am proud of what you did, I was around Fatty Ho's shop and kept thinking of Mid-Knight. What you did deserves compliments. I have a black cocker spaniel too and she is 3 years old. We adopted her from SPCA and cocker are lovely to be with and I am sure Mid-Knight will make a different to your whole family.
God bless you all.
