I mean, people can kill all the insects and there isn't anyone who cares. But when it comes to animal we have all these organisations, WWF, SPCA, etc.
Should someone start caring?

We are migrating to Sumatra. We have found a beautiful mangrove swamp just across the straits. Since the Selangor Gov do not appreciate our presence, we are going away.

Chin_wan, by all means, do not kill your house mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, ants, whiteants and termites. You should instead care for them. Since you're at it, I would like you to care for mine too. Come pick them up.

WWF is in nature preservation, protecting the habitats of animals including insects. FRIM also has a zoology department, one of the division concentrates on insects.
Am i on the right track or are we still talking about Pest.

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated ~ Mahatma Gandhi
I think it's quite true. Kill for survival, not for fun or hatred.
Chin Wan. You no kill mosquitoes/ants/flies etc? Good for you. They annoy me..so I have to 'exterminate' them. But my favourite insect is this.

Maybe there are around 200 million of insects for every human being on earth... too many of them, so nobody would really notice if you kill an ant, fly, mosquito or termites.
