What I am about to tell you, I swear that I am not making it up or trying to be disgusting. I saw this on a japanese program. So this is what I have to tell.......
For fever, cut a section of fresh leek. Yes, the kind you can buy at the market. Stick that leek into the patient's rear end, but not entirely, ok? wait for a moment, then remove. It seems that the juices from the leek will enter the body and reduce the fever. It works like a suppository.
I tell you, I am not kidding. I saw it on TV a while back. I am not a Doctor okay? Dont hold this against me if it doesn't work for you. I am just telling it as i saw it.

beginning of sore throat - gurgle with salt water & thereafter drink lots & lots of water
bad breath - drink lots and lots of water (may not be for all cases)
bad breath - gorgle with baking soda or salt + water
foot odour - sprinkle some baking soda in the shoes before wearing, during weekend put on warm cover weather, don't expose to sun (leather shoes) to kill bacteria.
- soak with baking soda + water( luke warm water)
When my cough don't subside after a week or so I'll go hunting for DURIANS :D
Somehow the consumption of 3 or 4 seeds of durian dries out the phelgm leaving the throat dry n tickle free. Must drink aplenty of water also , otherwise sore throat would take over.

To whiten you teeth
brush with baking soda, result is immediate after few days, trust me, you don't have to see dentist every half yearly for cleaning, if you use this regularly.
a friend who smoke have many yellowish teeth , after a week, his friend ask why a sudden he realise teeth cleaning is important, he say nothing but it cost less to have teeth cleaning with baking soda rather than any commercial toothpaste

kokomo,
can be a ready-to-be-father....
if a baby is crying and after trying the above, baby could be teething - not feeling well, not eating well with sliver from the mouth.....
basically the teething biscuit should be alright for the baby, otherwise add food with some powder calcium, let the baby take some ice-cream could soothe her well.
i found yuyi oil is a bit too hot, i bought the minyak telon, from malay store who sell jamu, soap and traditional medicine n oilment.
check if baby private part , if rashes, drapolene should help grab from any pharmacy
kokomo
15-04-2006, 08:48 AM
:eek: Huh!?!? You kiddin' me ar Winnie .. I'm not ready for any father like thingy now ...
Anyway, yuyi oil should not apply on your palm then rub on the baby .. jz a small drop would be good enuff .. babies are not adults .. so dun apply those oilment wif your whole palm la ..
yes, drapolene or calamine cream is good for baby skin if they hv rashes .. dun hv also apply only .. no harm done to them but only to prevent their private area from gettin' rashes ..

Papaya with beef
The next time when boiling beef stock, try add in some papaya as it could help to break up the protein with the extra enzymes .
Loss Weigh - Papaya
If you'd been eating too much of meat yesterday, wanted to loss weigh the next day, you could try pineapple and papaya.
Both fruit have a lot of enzymes to break the protein easily.
After consume above fruit, advisable "to starve" for about two hours to ease the break down of protein.
Let the intestine work the thing up simple and better.

So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.
HAY FEVER? EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.

Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea. (actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system)!
INSOMNIA (CAN'T SLEEP?) HONEY!
Use honey as a tranquilizer and sedative.

ARTHRITIS? EAT FISH, TOO!!
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis. (fish has omega oils, good for our immune system)

Drink kacang hijau soup often, this will gone forever.....
KACANG hijau would act as cleanser to your whole body....
If you have asthma, try avoid some cooling veggie or fruit, white radish, orange, watermelon ,coconut juices .
It's not pimples on chest or back, it's a kind of toxic in your body..... again, kacang hijau should basically solve your problem.... as you can't take cooling thing such as above, no ice-cream, no ice drink...... try warm water....

Anything about eyes problem, could drink carrot juice + milk often, home made is perfect, the one you buy from hawker stall is all with additional gula wan... until you body get yellowish, stop a few days, but 1 cup a day is good, keep it up to few month to see the effect.
If you so "kan cheong" everyday, no only ED problem that you have, you would have ton of problem that man afraid of.......ok - Nothing need your immediate attention, take your time, relax, do it the most relax way...... Stop by , bought a bunch of flower to your wifey, and etc..... you are man, who should know all about this well mah...
Grey hair, change your intake of oil to what other suggest, go olive oil, go sesame oil, no changes immediately but at least it take 1/2 year to see the difference.
No appetide, change to sweet potato for your breakfast, lunch and dinner, you would be damn hungry liao 3 pieces per meal (can add in some protein powder drink with the intake of Vit B, the essential for new hair grow) no meat ok
No guarantee 100% satisfaction ok, it's just something general.

PINEAPPLE
Like melons, pineapples have no built-in reserves of starch that convert to sugar- thestarch is stored in the stem of the plant rather than in the fruit itself. Just before the fruitripens completely, the starch converts to sugar and enters the fruit;
A large pineapple will have a greater proportion of edible flesh to rind and core, but small and medium- sized pineapples can still be delicious;
The fruit should be firm and plump, as well as heavy for its size, with fresh looking green leaves;
A good pineapple should be fragrant, but if the fruit is cold, the aroma may not be apparent;
The pineapple is considered to be a protective fruit;
Nutritional Value
The pineapple is the most essential foodstuff in “The Dries Cancer Diet”;
This fruit has great nutritive value;
It contains carbohydrates, proteins, fats and water.It also has calcium, phosphorous, iron, magnesium, potassium and sodium, chlorine,sulphur and manganese;
Pineapples are an excellent source of vitamin C and have vitamin A, B1 and B2;
Health Benefits
Lessens time and degree of inflammation;
Pineapple enzymes have been used with success to treat rheumatoid arthritis and tospeed tissue repair as a result of injuries, diabetic ulcers and general surgery;
Bromelain enzymes are present in raw pineapple or freshly squeezed juice;
Pineapple enzymes act specifically to break down protein, helping to ease digestion;
Reduces blood clotting and helps remove plaque from arterial walls. Studies suggest that pineapple enzymes may improve circulation in those with narrowed arteries, such as angina sufferers;
Used to help cure bronquitis, throat infections; it has a laxative effect, helps to clear digestive inflammation and intestinal fevers;
It is efficient in the treatment of arterioscleroses and anaemia;
Pineapple is an excellent cerebral toner; it combats loss of memory, sadness and melancholy;

Figs are noticed for their sweetness and soft texture – they consist of a pliable skin enclosing a sweet, even softer, fleshly interior filled with edible seeds;
Figs have the shortest life span of any fruit in the market. Once they are harvested, they last about only a week. As a consequence, about 90 percent of the world’s fig harvest is dried;
Nutritional Value

In chinese culture, when bad blood circulation, you tend to encounter pain.
Stiff neck, namb finger or leg, backpain, shoulder pain and etc.
You could always apply the pain area with hot pack (from pharmacy).
Or
The quickest way is getting a bigger watt of hair dryer, blow the affected area. It would help to relief the pain immediately. (Low watt take longer time)
ABOVE IS JUST A SUGGESTION AND MAY NOT WORK WITH ALL PAIN, TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. :)

Kokomo,
You could see the time difference , still have jet leg problem, but able to sleep well.
The trip is tiring with all kiddos around but I learn another one thing - Coke, energy booster for the kiddos (eventhough it will lose so much of calcium). When I need the kids to be alert, I let them have Coke all day... :D
Learn that it's a good time to get property and find good career over there, I guess, it's a good start for me.
So, how's your days over here, I have no time to read all the posting, probably you could pm me.... :p
