Just to highlight what happened to my immediate neighbor (Simon) on his return from Kuching at KLIA today ( or rather, yesterday... )

He parked his car overnight... on returning, he went to pay for the parking but TWO of the machines were faulty - so he went to the counter to pay (which was nearest...) In a matter of minutes, some perp swiped his notebook bag from the top of the trolley ~ with everything in it !!! When he turned around ~ the notebook, keys, thumbdrive and all his work was gone....

He made a police report and actually got to see the CCTV recording of the area... and guess what - the perp was captured on CCTV !!! He was loitering at the parking payment counter for up to 1 hour ... yet the cops/security did nothing !!!

Please remember if you are carrying a notebook/laptop on one of those airport trolleys - please use the bag-strap and secure it to the trolley by weaving the strap through and reclipping it.... Half the cases of theft and loss are from personal items kept on these trolleys.. At least if some perp tries to grab your bag ~ he's in for a nasty suprise...

Talk about notebook.

My colleague was having his breakfast at Kayu Taipan. He sits facinf his van. However, when he return to his darkened window van, the other side of the window was broken into and his company notebook was stolen.

This prove my theory that there is a scanner that able to scan if the vehicle have any notebook/PC or not.

Uptown and Kelana Parkview are another popular place for theft of Notebook.

And a pregnant woman lost not only her handbag, but punched in her face, kicked in the stomach, hit in the neck...but the saddest of all, lost her 6 months old unborn baby.

This took place in JB, in the toilet of a petrol station, involving more 4 men ( if they can be called man) in their 20s. ( Star, today)

A life of an unborned infant and injuries to a mother just for a handbag? How sick are the streets of bolehland becoming and the gomen is angry at Singapore for saying JB is cowboy town.

Illegal immigrants or drug addicts looking for quick bucks?

Yup, JB is becoming a cowboy town.

The Spore New Paper carried a story yesterday of how 3 Singaporeans (ex-NS men) were robbed of their cash by 1 guy at the upmarket City Square shopping complex in JB recently.

Seems to me that the police can't be patrolling every shopping centre in JB, KL or wherever.

And add negative press coverage as one more of the bilateral disputes between Msia and Spore. Even our own Tuan Zam has got into the act!

We can't tolerate with this anymore!! it's bloody true that JB is a notorious city now. Gomen cannot stop the press from highlighting the truth!! maybe to them, this matter is not serious until someone closes to them become the victim.

makes me wonder whether the police is aware of the increase in crime in the first place... or in their minds semua ok, tak berlaku selalu, one off incident. The fact that it happened needs to be addressed or prevented.

What crap is this ..."we don't need an independant committee to watch us...we have our own mechanism"...utterly rubbish

besides with thye building of our famous scenic/cynic bridge we will be inviting more foreign workers there, could increase it further.

Cannot understand why, cause serious harm when these scums need to rob... b****ly animals, *(*(*^&%&^%
I am sure they crossed th border and gone out of sight, and will return another day.

we probably need ROBOCOP... crime fighting machine..
