I would like to create a forum on my event website. Is there any easy way to do it? Can I use any free template available online and with easy administration? Appreciate it if anyone can help me.

Thanks aRwEn. But it seemed like it's not a free software.
I am using it for a non-profit society and looking for a free solution.
Would you know of any free one that I could download online?
I have checked on Google and there are so many choices with different functions that I am confused. Since I am just an amateur at web design, would like to try out the most user-friendly one.

USJ dot com started with a free version of a bulletin (can't remember which) and we found that there were a lot of adminstrative functions missing. When you use freeware, there will be compromises. For example, you may not be able to change locations of threads like I am doing here, or you may not be able to ban troublesome members.

When you plan to run this bulletin board, you will need to locate it in a web server. It is not adviseable to host the website yourself (that is another chapter of explanation altogether). Since you would most likely be looking for a web-host, please search for one that you can afford AND one that will provide the bulletin board services as well. I am sure some hosting sites may have this facility .. then you don't need to worry about acquiring the software.

phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/) is another free Open source bulletin board that is quite widely used. Chk it out to see if suitable.
