Ahh...Another british comedy..But don underestimate this movie , for me very scary to see ..haha..Children who are evil and dangerous..so bad that a witch have to come to tame them and teach them few things!..the dad work in the funeral parlour..mom died sometime ago...Aunty (lady of murder she wrote) give them monthy allowance so that dad can support the children ( around 6? ).Hmmm..Emma thompson look good here long time no see her..

Yes , this movie is nice to watch..Comedy is good also..Quite funny. Dialoque is nice..And story line is funny and scary also..With funny character like the cook , the gay parlour assistants , chinese butler?..The house wall colors are funny?..The children personal characteristic and as a group very evil and dangerous..because dad spent few time with them..Worrying often because aunty threaten to cut allowance if dad not remarry within the month!..
So dad in desperate wish to marry a new widow who husbad just died..husband no 5?...The widow is goodfy and evil also..Haha..

Meanwhile children keep on torturing nannies until no more nanny want to work there until comes NANNY Mcphee..Then Nanny Mcphee got magic power!...So will the children be tamed? Who dad is going to marry?
Will the children be separated as oprhans? etc etc..

Got corny scenes...but i guess if u like family with children comedy can watch ah..This is actully nice to watch..same with yours , mines and ours ...

In the past, the rich ladies who could not (or did not like the idea of) breast feed her children would engage a "wet nurse" or "nai ma" to feed her baby. Of course, in the old days, there was no such things as baby formulae or powdered milk - hence the need for a human substitue. Perhaps, these ladies became nannies. Definition of Nanny = children's nurse. The best description is at http://www.knowledgerush.com/kr/encyclopedia/Nanny

I guess this term of "nai ma" is now used as a general term for nannies by the urban Chinese although milking services are no longer used. I believe wet-nurses were more popular in China than in the west.
