normally i go there wash + vacuum my car only .. hehe .. cost me only RM9. i've seen many cars being send there to polish and their workmanship is good. Even they wash my car is cleaner than that ss14 Mobil there.

I would suggest if you wanna do waxing for your car only .. just go buy the wax product from Giant / Carrefour then DIY lor .. save money ma .. nowadays petrol also increase oledi ..

I saw a promotion on Turtle Wax in Eneos last weekend. Seems like really good but is it really that shining after applying it? It's been a long time since i wax my car so it's bout time i do so again.

Please note :

There is a difference between polishing and waxing your car...

When you polish, you remove the layer of dirt and grime that has adhered to your paintwork...

When you wax, ( carnuba or otherwise... ) you add a layer of proctective wax or similiar to protect your lacquer or paintwork...

There is another one which is called a "cut & polish"... which is stronger than a polish, works well (great!) with solid paint car but wreaks your "metallic" coats... so be careful if you wanna DIY your polishing/waxing... and btw, never, never polish under direct (hot) sunlight... you'd die trying to buff your waxworks... :p

Additional note: members with CARS International can get their cars ( and friends cars too... ) waxed for only RM38/RM48 (depending on your membership car you hold!)... cheers!

May I suggest you put some thoughts in giving an appropriate title to your thread rather than simply taruh "Any good recommand" Again what kind of English is this? Come on, if you want our assistance, first learn to ask properly eg "Where to get a good car polish service here in SJ/USJ" The title you used will only waste many of the people's time when they start to click it only to find a subject matter which is of no interest to them. Thank you.

I'd like to second this. I recommend that couple forumers take some self improvement course in the language and be clear what you want to say or ask. Please take some initiative. You don't need to speak like an englishman but at least do your best to write something that is understandble. Off course there are some who try their best to speak broken english as pointed out by Joe Gomez.

Sure thing. Start a English 101 course and have people who want to register as members to sit for an examination. If he fails the paper, he has to re-sit in six months' time. We can also run advanced English courses and segregate the threads into elementary, intermediate and advance and we allocate colour tags for different proficiency levels so that members know which thread they can post and which thread is for them to view only. Excellent suggestion.

no need to be sarcastic my friend. I'm just giving my views and sugggestions in good faith and not offering any course etc nor suggesting usj.com conduct one either. even smwh is not offended by what I said but you seem to have a bone to pick. and you seem to twist the facts. I guess a request to being reasonable is too much for you.

I've stayed away from you since my last comments directed to you on you thinking and talking like you are the real Jose who is from Portugal and now based in chelsea. I do like yor arguments then when I commented on you,you were just minding your own business. But it seems you have double standards. Others can't do it but if you do it is ok.It seems you can make suggestion and give views but others are can't as in the thread about Msian education. I think chang's statement on you when receiving the banana is very true.

I'll stay cool for now. But if you want a sparring partner and would like it to be me, please feel free. I do know who you are and your previous nick(s).

as for membership to usj.com, please read the rules. ;)

Aiseh. Others can give views and I can comment on their views. Same as you are free to comment on my views. But just don't get personal and start all the Jose of Chelsea stuffs again. Read my post in reply to yours just now. Did I attack you in any way? The word 'you' was not even mentioned. Let's not bring Chang into this and others in the Education thread into this. Talking about gathering support for safety in numbers.... Gee. I don't want to spar with you. You are of no consequence to me. But if you want to spar with me, do it alone and on your own. Don't try to tag others along. Fair enough?

:)

Chang has withdrawn that comment and apologized for that comment and I have accepted his apology. So are you trying to say that Chang is trying to revive that comment again?

I've no problem dealing with you on a one to one basis be it in this forum or any where else. You are no Jose Mourinho in a millions years. Come one 'jose mourinho' wannabe.

One place I won't recommend - the car wash behind Petronas in USJ 14. Just stay away from the place.

Ahhhhh....there's nothing like a do-it-yourself. Thorough job...full satisfaction. I just recently tried Mecquiar car polish. Expensive but real excellent staff. All other brands I have used before like Auto..., Tur...., John...., pale in comparison.

A few things about those commercial polishing outlets. Often they dont even wash your car properly before polishing. As a result, they actually ingrain the dirt into your car painwork. Second, they use dirty/rough cloth to wash/polish your car. Worse, I have seen them using windscreen wipers. Third, when owners are not around, they sometimes drive customers' cars around like it was in Sepang. There was a case when a volvo was driven into the wall at the multi storey car park at Taipan. The worker who crash the car fled after wards. But the car...???? Kaput lah!!!

And there was a neighbour who left his car at a polishing outlet and almost immediatley a few days later had his car stolen! May not be linked, but suspicion arose.

So, if you really want to send your car for polishing, take precaution. Watch them do it. Remove your car alarm and steering lock key. Remove any car sticker or documents that will reveal where you live or work. And dont leave your house keys in the car either. Take care.
