majority won't want to use NPE cos the toll cost there very high .. RM1.60 each entry .. in n out .. worst still u hv to pay twice if ya using that route to KL .. RM3.20

But personally, i won't mind paying it cos i hate to get stuck in da jams .. makes ppl go crazy gettin' stuck there then by the time u hv a smooth ride ahead, u realize that there is actually nothing to be jam bout .. saja those ppl in highway, certain stretch of road wanna slow down or u can say practically driving at less than 20 km/h ..

My sis takes NPE from Jalan Pantai back to USJ and she says it takes her merely 15 mins to reach Sunway. But from Sunway to USJ....mmmmmmmmm that may take longer than 15 mins lor. :(

at least your sis is save from an hour or more so, jam back from KL then another hour jam to get into USJ .. look at the bright side .. anyway, if she's taking NPE from sunway then back to USJ .. tell her try not to take the route in ss13 there .. take a longer route like from sunway straight head to ss18 then from there come out right in front of ss19 that bridge straight down to USJ 2 ... go any part of usj u wanna go is faster ..

hope after tellin' u guys in here, tomoro i won't experience the jam there .. hehe .. :p

the thunderstorm might have screwed up the traffic lights at that junction. same thing happened on tuesday night, the green time was short but wait time was about 120s.

when i was invited to tag along on a cloud-seeding operation by TNB and Jabatan Kajicuaca, one of the Kajicuaca guys told me that it's quite easy to forecast when it's going to rain.

If the sky is clear and cloud-less early in the morning, chances are it's going to rain in the afternoon. If it's gloomy, or cloudy, then it may not rain. Or it may rain at night or early morning.

So, if we see a bright sunny day in the morning, and extra hot weather in the middle of the day, siap sedia lah to redah jam and flash floods :)

its worth the rm3-20 for using the NPE if u think of the fuel, time n most of all 'stress' u will save . Fuel is forever going up, time can be fr 1 hr to 2 hrs or more if there is an accident along the Federal Highway, what more with the ongoing roadworks. Can be pretty stressed up driving home after a hard day's work.what more if u meet road bullies along the way :(

Why does our traffic light get messed up or becomes faulty easily just by a few seconds of thunderstorm?

Blame the development. Too many cars on the road and lousy public transport. Town Planners are too short sighted.

Town Planners are thick in the head
Town planner in other places like Bangkok are even thicker in head coz their jam is worse than ours. But then again, some of us are also thick in the head :) coz government provide LRT, Commuter and Monorail but we prefer to drive to work!
