the traffic light in front of SS19 is out of order in the rain storm this evening...
tomorrow morning... suspected having very terrible traffic in Jalan Tujuan...
hope MPSJ able to fix it tonight...

Who knows traffic will be smoother without the traffic...except for cars crossing out towards USJ ans crossing to SS19...will see :)

Great day today.....reached office before official time.....havent been able to do that for since new year.......lol...................maybe this is part of the strategy by MPSJ to smoothen traffic...who needs new fly over anymore.....

As I have anticipated… the real bottleneck is at the SS19 traffic light and the crossver traffic light from Tujuan to SS15. If this two traffic lights gives way, the ride would be much more smoother…

Why the traffic light is not practical is that, the road is at over capacity during peak hours. The number of vehicles exceeds the road capacity thus, with those traffic lights, it just adds on to traffic squash…

My suggestion, would be to remove these traffic lights, and create a U-turn, whish would enable traffic to flow thru and not having any stoppages!

ANy comments?!

Would the apparent U turn after the npe tunnel in SS19 result in one or both lights being remove ?

Yes, thats what I would recommend... The U-turn methodology had been proven in many developed countries, when the road exceeds its capacity, traffic light and round-about does not work. So one stretch, the road is planned to have couple of U-turns to ease the traffic, and an extended road is build to accommodate this U-turning.

but the U-turn back to USJ is from the fast lane...
will this slow down the traffic...
