450g(1lb)pork sausage meat
125g(4oz)breadcrumbs
1 medium onion,chopped
60ml(4tbsp)chopped parsley
1 egg beaten
salt and pepper
60ml(4tbsp)flour
veg oil for frying

METHOD
In a bowl or food processor mix together the sausagemeat, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg and seasoning for taste.
Divide the mixture into eight on a floured board. With well floured hands shape into rounds about 1 cm 1/2 inch thick
place the burgers on a lightly floured plate and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a little oil in a pan, add half of the burgers and fry for 8- 10 minutes a side, turning only once. Drain on absorbant paper and keep hot while frying the remainder.
