A group of moral crusaders had the tables turned on them when they were arrested by the police for allegedly molesting a woman they had caught for khalwat.
A 21-year-old banquet supervisor and his 17-year-old sales assistant girlfriend, who were at her brother's home in Kg Sungai Penchala, had a shock when the men kicked open the door and stormed into the house.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim said the men, aged between 24 and 44, beat up the boyfriend when he tried to explain that they had not been doing anything wrong, causing him to suffer injuries to his face, eyes and body.

“They then broke into the bathroom where the girl was taking a shower and allegedly groped and fondled her.

“One of the men also slapped her,” said ACP Mohd Dzuraidi.

The men then dragged the couple to the Brickfields police district headquarters to lodge a police report against them for khalwat.

However, they received a nasty surprise when police arrested them instead after the girl lodged a report against them.


my query is ...had they not molested the girl or beaten up the guy and not had a police report made against them .. they would not have been arrested? are moral crusades legal in malaysia?

Since when can anybody kicked open the door and stormed a house and then broke into the bathroom where somebody was taking a shower? Reminds me of the Trilogy of Godfather movies. I weep for this country.

In theory, even the police needs a search warrant to enter a house. I assume this bunch of people has powers greater than the police. :rolleyes:

who was supporting the snoop team in another thread? well I hope you read this. and please tell me that you now thing this is a bad idea. This guys think they have the power to raid your house and more. And please it can be a non muslims house as all they are looking for is a muslim looking person, they just need suspicion, not proof to conduct a raid. On top of that the abuse of power!!!

Can our Muslim friends can share what power and what authority do the so-called moral crusaders have, legally?

I have friends who look like Malay, imagine the moral crusaders just come barging into their homes, whack the daylights out of them, drag them to the police stations,....oops wrong race, sorry :o

Is the religion above the law, don't need warrant to search a private property?
