Thanks for the pointers but how to keep or store the biscuit's freshness? I did try to put it in a plastic container but it only last for 1-2 weeks... :(

Hi, you can store cookies in a good airtight container. You should store them in between sheets of waxed paper. If they will be eaten within a week, store them in the fridge. Or, you can also freeze your baked cookies.Line your airtight container with plastic wrap, then layer cookies in the container between sheets of waxed paper.Place another sheet of waxed paper on top so cookies will avoid contact with ice crystals.
If your baked crisp cookies have gone soft, put it in the oven (250F) for 5-7 min.to recrisp it.
If you want to mail the cookies, the best bet is to use empty milk or milo cans.Place the cookies into the cans between layers of crumpled waxed paper or bubble wrap.Beginning and ending with a cushioning layer.Make sure the can is pack well to prevent any shifting of the cookies. Then seal it shut with tape. Then when placing the can into the box (for mailing) cushion the can with crumpled newspaper to prevent the can rolling around the box...
Hope this helps!!

Thanks syl,

I'm just wondering where can I buy crushed hazelnut and waxed paper/parchment paper? I've tried to look for it at the hypermarket but they don't have these items. Can you suggest where is the best place to shop for baking tool and ingredients? I wanted to know which is the best butter to use SCS or Golden Churn (blue or Gold can)?

There's a shop in Taman Megah near to Fatty crab. They sell baking equipments, ingredients and stuff. Can't remember the name of the kedai tho.

I prefer Golden Churn.

Hi, although is a bit late to reply but i think this informations is still useful :p
Most of the time you can't find the baking tool/ingredients in the hypermarkets, some of the shops which I know they supply many of this things are:-
1) Best 23 S/B - USJ Br : No.57, Jln USJ 8/2B
- Paramount Garden : No.21. Jln 20/13 PJ
2) Bake with Yen - Taman Megah, same row with Fatty Crab & Lamanila.

3) Glutten - Sea Park, PJ. Last corner shop same row with those 4 ekor shops(Toto,Magnum etc) near the Sea Park Wet market.

4) One new shop open in SS 14, SJ same row with 7-eleven. Is a half corner shop sharing with another retailer.

Hope this information helps.

Regards.
