2KG (4LB) potatoes
40g (1 1/2 oz) butter
salt and pepper
METHOD
Peel the potatoes. Make deep lengthways cuts, close together, all across each potato, not cutting all the way through. Rinse potatoes well and pat dry.
Arrange potatoes and make sure that they are buttered all over well with melted butter. season to taste
cover with foil n bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 10 minutes 10 mins or until the potatoes are brown and tender.
