I was told it costs RM698 which is a hideous amount of money for a product that arguably doesnt work as it claims.

Izap or Uzap is an interesting product but it is not a new idea. The product massages your body very heavily with heavy vibrations and heat.

This is a new variation on an old product. Used to be that you would wrap a band around your hips and the machine would massage away your fat.

I suppose that would loosen fat cells which then would be drained into the lymphatic system...if that actually worked...

There are two ways to get rid of visible fat. Actually remove the cells, or by burning the stored energy and shrinking the fat cells.

Liposuction surgically removes the cells. A less surgical but possibly more dangerous methods is chemical lipolysis through injection (killing of fat cells).

All other ways do not actually kill the fat cells. Instead, they force the body to use the energy stored inside the fat cells, so the cells are much smaller.

I personally bought the Perfect 8 from Ogawa. It has the pads which gives electrical stimulation of the muscles and nerves. It is very effective (9 different muscle and massage programs) and only cost me RM299 but of course it does not substitute for regular exercise and a lowfat diet.

Cheers, m

all that these gadgets do is make the manufacturers rich.. no short cut way of getting a trim tummy other than exercise and a strict diet. but hey.. its your money to burn....
