The good old days, kueh Kapek were sold in the big MILO tin only and the last price transacted some years back was RM 10.00 per tin. Today, there is no SIRIM standard of measurement anymore. Also they are made in different form now. I am beginning to see the 'rolled ones' similar to cigarrete unlike the triangular shape. And the plastic container comes in different sizes. Today, it is sold not by weight but by volume and so the traders/makers will use their ways to sell to maximise their profit. I think it is about time the Ministry of Domestic Trade (and this is purely a domestic until it goes national or global) should step in and dictate that it should be sold by weight. If not, I forsee in time to come, it will be sold in the form of toilet roll.

:p Pc, you really crack me up.

I know of an uncle who sells pretty good love letters at USJ2 (outside the coffee shop next to Sri Anggerik). Can't remember the price but reasonable..they are triangular ones and very tasty. Perhaps I could make a round there sometime soon and look him up for his contact.

Chow!
