300g spaghetti
85ml unsalted butter
150g sliced ham, cut into thin strips
250ml cream- 1 cup
15ml 1tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
grated rind of 1 lemon
salt and balck pepper
3 tbsp (45ml) grated parmesan cheese

cooking the spaghetti in a boiling water
Melt butter in a large deep frying pan and add ham. Cook for 30 seconds before adding the cream, parsley and lemon rind. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 1 to 2 minutes more, until thick and smooth.
When pasta is al dente, drain and add it to the pan with parmesan. Toss quickly to coat well and heat through. Serve
