Go to FotoKem - Between Guardian and McD.. in Taipan... I think its something like RM30 from VHS or Hi8 tape to each VCD/DVD... last time I inquired! If anyone knows a cheaper place, i oso wanna know... :p

And if anyone wanna reproduce/replicate old B&W/monochrome photos (without negatives), there is this Photoshop (Fuji Photo) in SungaiWay... slip road from the Federal Highway... they do it cheaper than anywhere I know... (thought you guys might wanna know too... cheers.. ! )

Do you still have the tape player? If it's still working, get a DVD recorder from Carrfour and plug the player to it. then viola...a homemade tape to DVD converter.

Let me know when you have this setup. I need a few tapes converted too. (my player/ camcorder kaput already)

That would be the most easy and economical. I suppose all DVD/VCD recorder will have standard video signal input as default + other commonly use format.

While on this subject, anyone knows where or who can transfer/convert my 8mm film (not video tape) in vcd or vdv. The 8mm films is the one that needs a reel to reel projector to run it - (yes, I do go that far back with my hobby)

My projector gone kaput and no one sells it.. thanks
