Dog owners having their maids walk their dogs please take notice on how they do it. My mum was doing her usual morning walk this morning when she was almost bitten by a dog that was walked by a maid busy trying to steal fruits from a house. Had the dog not been attached to the said maid, it would have been a painful episode.
Whether that maid was greedy or just plain stupid would have been a moot point should an attack have taken place. With certain parties now raising a lot of hoolaboo over the issue of having dogs, this kind of incident would be additional fuel to the fire.

I think sometime you cannot blame the maid. They majikan should teach the maid how to handle a dog. And sometimes for the maid, that is the only time they were allowed out of the house. Beside that if the maid are not stupid, would they be a maid?

Don't pin it on dogs.
The people of USJ3 were nearly ran over by a cow last Tuesday! The cow went amok trying to escape being slaughtered?
Don't disturb the dogs....tey will try to lick you but they won't bite unless you do something stupid.

Anything wrong with maids walking dogs? What if they enjoy doing so? If it is wrong, why maids are allowed to walk children up and down the streets? You mean parents of those children are dumb too???? have respect for dogs......they may one day rescue you from a heap of rubble....

For the life of me, are you comparing children to dogs or dogs to children? I have heard and known animal lovers but I do think this is a bit on the extreme.

Halo Fren,....JD for maids is mainly to help the house mams who is sooo occupied to raise the family....if the maid is stupid, then does this means that the task of raising family is also a stupid task....

you are so ignorant when saying a maid is stupid.....if at all she is stupid, its not her own will, but god's...god is testing her and people around her to see the co-operation, living in harmony spirit exist or not.............if she is stupid, it only means that she is not up to your level of thinking, also means that your level of thinking is high, also means that its god willing that your level of thinking got that high...............

so if you think you are so clever (i assume that you yourself is not a maid),...then help her lah...

hmm, no wonder lah lots of "brilliant" maid ran away....???????????????

Don;t expect someone else to do your bidding for you, besides you don't expect your maid to jump hoops and go through rings of fires just to save your kids in distress do you?

If she was a highly trainned qualified butler, with PHD in dog walking than she deserves to get screwed. Nevertheless, you as the owner should be more responsible in delegating task to others. Know their capability first, degree of responsibility and trust worthness. (don't ask melah, me also slacker)

My apology if I put that sentence wrongly. They may not be stupid but if they are clever, they would not come to Malaysia and work here instead of working somewhere else where you can get more money. Maybe some of them act stupid so that they can get away from doing things. But then again, if they act clever and easy to comprehend simple instruction, they might end up doing the whole housework, washing the car, looking after the children, bathing the dog, walking they dog, doing the laundry, ironing, mopping, cooking, feed the cat, wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast, sleep late after finishing the household chores and so on for the little amount of money that we pay them.

Ameer Shah, I am a maid in my own house. I have no one to help me do all the little things and those chores that expected to be done daily apll those mentioned above. And I know how it feel to be helpless in a foreign land with no one to help you. And I do sometimes feels that I'm stupid because no one appreciate what you do, day in and day out. At least a maid can get paid. And I am not.

I must say that the person handling the dog (whether maid or not) should be well-informed on the dog's behaviour and that he/she should always keep it on a short leash in public places, disregard whether or not the dog has been trained.

I've personally encountered irresponsible dog owner who had accidentally let loose their dog on the street, while struggling to walk 2 dogs at one time. We were almost bitten by that canine if it wasn't for our swift actions.

It's the problem with the dog and the majikan, why should we keep pointing to the maid.

I do have a maid to take care of the housework, my lovely daughter and my in-law. Eventhough a lot of motivation and heart to heart talk, but I still have doubt if she can understand me perfectly. But when you get the feeling that she like your family, without saying anything, she will approach to help.

In this case, I would say that the employer didn't walk the dog with the maid and that's why she may not learn how dangerous it could be.
