Need info on ftp and bit torrent

Hi, i'm new here but i have s'thing to ask. Can anyone tell me anything about ftp and bit torrent? I know they somehow facilitate file downloads from the internet but what is their mode of operation and how to use them? Thanks In Advance! :D

If you want to understand more, try the tutorial. If you have your own web site, than that is the best thing to do . You can upload and download your web content and update them, load them back to your server.
