Guys, those of you with a B2 licence can ride a bike below 250cc. A bike of this size is safe and fast enough to get you out of any potential problems/road bullies in tin-cans :p
A kawasaki zzr 250 for e.g. can give u 400kilometre on a tankful fo petrol (18lit). The road tax is only rm150 a year. It only requires regular 5000 normal service and cost less than rm100 each time...Now it so happen that there is one bike for sale...go to www.spitfirebikers.com and look for this thread "Beloved ZZR 250 for Sale".

Its a jolly good buy and think of it as a way to rid thyself of the daily jam in&out of USJ :p

yup...is one of my tip-top 'work-horse' bikes. I got seduced by another bike and need the space to park just 1 more bike :p

Err...yup...gotta do something as to NOT contribute to the jams...whilst saving fossil energy...

Err...bought a bike just for riding to the nearby stores to buy ciggies instead of driving a 4x4 there to get it...waste of fuel...

Besides...needed the exercise...riding on a bike which was meant to be for little Orchis...

So...ya can imagine how folks in USJ 2 looks at Orchi while pedaling the little bike...haha...a sure head turner...! :D

whilst saving fossil energy...

although i m still a honda kupchai faithful, i gotta admit that when u crunch d figures, 2 wheelers r hyper inefficient at fuel combustion when compared agst sub compacts and smaller cars. this is derived at by considering d consumption 2 weight ratios. n if u factor in a 2 wheeler transporting only 2 bums while u can squeeze in 5 or more in2 a kancil n other 4 wheelers, d consumption 2 passenger ratio may not work in favour of kupchais, definitely not 4 my preferred 250s.

joker: The thing is, most people would rather have their own car/method of transportation rather than squeeze themselves in a kancil with 3 or 4 other people.

And besides, most people nowadays would rather buy a 4x4 monstrosity on the excuse that it's "for the family" rather than get a bike to help the environment, or even save petrol.

Though I'd say the human race would have half a chance of surviving if we all follow tupai + orchi's lead.

choon1980, u dont read me right.

4 yr benefit, i'll repharase my stmt "2 wheelers r hyper inefficient at fuel combustion when compared agst sub compacts and smaller cars."

if it helps u, "sub compacts and smaller cars r generally a lot more fuel efficient than motorcycles. fuel efficiency here refers 2 d rate of consumption of fuel in relation 2 d weight of d vehicle n d no. of passengers transported simultaneously. therefore such cars are technically more environmental friendly than 2 wheelers".

100% of 4 strokes m/cycles meet euro emission std grade 4. :D and without catalactyc converter installed...what that say? :p

18litres of petrol gets 350-400km. what that say? :D
Of course, if there was pillion, then maybe can get 300kilo per 18lit tankful.
what that say? :D

hahhahahhh...msians all very rich one, where got car pool concept? :D

It will be another 10-15 years b4 biocar or REALLY fuel efficient car can be marketed...hahhahahh. i rather ride north than twiddle my thumbs waiting in subnag jaya :D

Yes, joker is right, 2 wheelers are hyper inefficient. However, he might not notice that most of fuel are used up to move the 600kg kancil or those 1000kg+ honda.

Riding those 2 wheelers definately save up on fuel consumption.

If you based on fuel used per person moved , let's say for 1km distance, Then a motorcycle is definitely more efficient than a 600kg+ weighted vehicle. Having said that I would not be too sure of the efficiency if everyone uses a 1000cc superbike.

Av 750cc-1000cc superbike weighs in about 180-230kg. The 20lit tank gives 250-300km max but thats when its been pushed to run at 160-200kph.

Its is still more fuel efficient than a kancil for 2:D
