The first batch of invitees (eg: Dato Lee, Afrizal and Azli) are by virtue of their positions in MPSJ and Gilbert being JKP Zon 2 Chairman where the project is situated and the applicant themselves that is Teratai. The second batch are those who actually submitted their objections in writings. Syabas to this second group. But there are some key people who should be extended this invitation and they seem to be left out. Nevertheless, they are most welcome to the hearing but we need to check if these uninvited guests can have a voice even though they are community leaders eg: yours truly.

All residents here are stakeholders in this community so it really shouldnt matter. Invited or not, our voices should be valid and heard, isnt it?

Whatever you people do, please portray yourselves as a civic-minded group with community concerns in mind. NEVER appear to be rowdy or unmanaged. Give a bad impression and all your arguements go out of the window. I have a suggestion but if I post it here, it would prompt the opposition with regards our points of arguement. Maybe you people need a preparatory session to work out your action for that day. Do go prepared and united.

There is no need for such reminder Chang as we people in SJ/USJ has always and will always be very well behaved. On the contrary, it is the other parties whom I do not want to name for fear of libel suit that are behaving unruly and warlords. We are all very prepared as far as USJRA is concerned. I can't say much about others as everybody seems to be keeping their stretegies very close to their chests. Some are even working under waters.

Just a reminder on the Public Hearing -- if you are a concerned USJ and Subang Jaya resident, this is our LAST CHANCE to SAY NO to the proposed flyover that will link Subang Heights/USJ Heights/Batu 3 into USJ -- and bring an influx of traffic (light and heavy) into our Ultra Super Jammed USJ.

Come and lend your support -- your physical presence will send the message that the proposed flyover is A TRAFFIC MESS IN THE MAKING.

Date: Thursday, January 12, 2006
Time: 10.30am
Venue: Mini Theatrette, MPSJ Building (USJ 5)

Key points to note:
* More traffic = More congestion -- Worsen the Traffic Jams we are already enduring
* Safety of schoolchildren at USJ 12 schools at risk
(WEF 2006, the USJ 12 schools are having double sessions!)
* USJRA has proposed a Viable Alternative for residents of Subang Heights/USJ Heights i.e. a Direct Access right into Kesas Highway and smooth access to Subang Jaya/Sunway, Puchong, Klang, KLIA etc. We are not denying residents of Subang Heights/USJ Heights access infrastructure since the Central Sugar end of their current access route leaves much to be desired presently.
* The extra traffic influx will negate on-going efforts in improving traffic congestion in USJ/Subang Jaya.

So USJ and Subang Jaya residents, don't be armchair critics -- you CAN make a meaningful contribution and difference >>> please attend the public hearing and say NO!

Thank you.

Can you imagine a ISO 9001 certified organisation fax the agenda of this important meeting 7 days after the USJRA requested it. And guess what? The fax just came out of the fax machine at 9.45am which is 45 minutes before the meeting starts. Our secretary is now on the way back to her home office to retrieve it to attend the meeting which will start in 30 minutes time. This is how MPSJ works on this issue where nearly everything is not right and this very issue affects all of us in the sense that if we lose this battle, expect thousands of vehicles to come in from the USJ backdoor from Shah Alam and its neighbouring industrial zones and we all kiss goodbye to all the roadworks done here that are meant to improve the current congestion GOODBYE. And if you are very concern about this, why are you still sitting at your computer reading this post when you should be on the way to MPSJ to support us to say
NO to the Batu 3 flyover link at USJ 3ABCD.
