Actually depends on u and her characteristic..here some ideas..

1..Give her the cash?...
2..Rose+teddy bear/something cute+romantic dinner+jewellry+cash
3..Shopping spree with her..
4..Short vacation with her or give a vacation package without u going..her holiday alone?
5..Ask her what she want?
6. Advertise and confess your love in Newspaper articles in major newspaper.
7. Have a surprise party for her
8. Give her a pet?.."but beware she may give it attention to the pet more than u later"
9. Invest in studiotraffic/or others so that within one year will get 360% interest back.(3000X360/100=rm10800) ?
10..Start an investment fund for her..so that every month she will have extra income..(like no.9 but not yearly but monthly withdrawal)

RM3k only ar..:o

:D just pulling your legs.

Kevin, just ask her what she wants la. I know I'd appreciate that. Don't buy funny gifts she might not use like perfumes, makeups, clothes, bags etc..unless you know her tastes well.

Or else, how about offering to buy her parents something nice? To show them how much you appreciate them for having trusted their girl into your care? As her bf? Sure it would gain you top points with no need for diamonds for a long long time! :p

But!! diamonds are also nice, :D... tho not all girls like wearing very flashy ones..the little ones (small 'carrot') in white gold or platinum would be nice, for keeps sake or for wearing. One more thing ar..girls nowadays don't like the 'gold' gold, very old fashioned. White is fashionable, well of course, if she insists on gold instead.

Or ar..see if her watch is old and worn out. You can get her a what, Tag Heuer? :D

Tag Heur mana bagui! Get her Rolex Submariner :p :D

Can also :D

Kevin, you can tell her you're getting her a present for birthday, chinese new year, valentine's, christmas etc..all in one. Then perhaps, you could get her a Rolex, submarine izzit?? :D

Sato, how much la. :p sounds like a bomb. Nuclear.

Tupai sir ar.. Kevin's gf's parents might give him a big TICTACTOE on his head if they found out wor :D anything that requires spending the night could be quite 'dangerous' ma..hehe..just kidding..

But the idea of a romantic dinner and RM10 bunch of roses and a walk on the beach sounds pretty nice. After that the girl should be home dreaming about the boy..isn't it better ar :D

I would say you could buy her some voucher such as jusco cash voucher, she will get whatever she want with the voucher, she happy, you don't have so much of headache.

Buying gift for lady could be headache, even she don't like the gift, she would pretend she like it (not to spoilt your heart).

For one case I know of , a husband keep buying all kind of perfume for his wife, whereby his wife hardly use perfume.

Getting something expensive for a lady - diamond, gold, watch, handbag, designer gaun and etc. better don't lah, you don't want to see ppl slautter her or rob her on the street right.

Sometimes we keep thinking what to buy for our love one until we forgotten about our parent, without them who we are ?

Maybe you would like to buy her some encyclopedias and world maps.
Or maybe some MPSJ parking coupons.

Spending 3K on your gf ?? If I were a girl, I would fall for you...;)

Why not talk to her, that 3K use it to open a joint account. Then you mention that the money would be used for your wedding with her....then every month bank in some money to that account.....

Another suggestion is to take studio photo together...it will be priceless that to see both of your photo together....

Or..Take her for a good dim sum breakfast, then head to her favo hair saloon, give her a hair treatment, then take her to a spa for her to relax, after that, have a lunch at good restaurant, after lunch, head to frasier hill, enjoy the scenery, then come back, take her to Shangrila for Dinner.....then send her home....

Think something romantic larr..;) something that you guys can talk about often..

Ahem...kinda agree with AlexHay about being romantic...n the key is...ya gotta be really creative about it...coz every other boyfriends of hers...toms dicks n jessies...could be equally romantic as well...

If i'm the girl, i'll be lost for words, wow RM3k worth of encyclopedias and maps taking up space in my house. Seriously bro, had you had any good experience from doing this for a girl, what was her reaction? My goodness, and i thought i've met enough interesting people to last a lifetime, apparently the list keeps getting longer and longer.

Kevin, tell you what. Re-decorate her room/house with new furnitures, she will appreciate the new look for Chinese New Year (assuming you're chinese of course).

You would have to ask yourself honestly, would you still be investing this obsence sum, after you sign on the dotted line?! Is the lady's heart so materialistic that it can only be won with such a gift?

There are little things that matters, spending time together, doing non-sinful things that both of you enjoy instead. A gift, immaterial of the sum and nature, would be treasured by the other party if the feelings are true.

Keep the money for a rainy day, buy something inexpensive, she might call you a cheapskate..........but at least, you will know she is not the right one and you will be laughing all the way to the bank! :)

aye, i second that..... now you are be rich, can buy her the stars and moon.. but what happens if *touch wood* you lose your cash? no more stars and moon wor... then the true colors will come out..... but it's your cash anyway, my suggestion would be a holiday kua... take her someplace ... exotic... maybe U.K? (ulu kelang) :D

Recommendation...take her to Ampang, the restaraunt name is Tamarind Springs....is a bit on the high side, but you will never regret taking her there...arrange something with the restaurant and give her a surprise..

p/s : girls loves surprises

If today RM3k how about 2morow, RM30 or R3.

Winnie bfriend ask what I want, I told him RM9999, he write a cheque in front of me and I bank in, a weeks later, two weeks later and until we got married. The $$$ just come in the right time. My old traditional mind would be like that......

In fact the mutual agreement is important for each other, you can give her moon and star but how long does this last - only your sincere and true heart will not let her down.

Don't let a women cry for you, and happy for you and family
