Drama , action , fantasy , chinese movie..aka the crismson armour , romance , historic epic?
The film concerns a love triangle fantasy involving a general, a princess and a slave.Chine most expensive movie , it a A Mainland - Hong Kong - South Korean - Japanese co-production..Already nominated for the golden globe eyeing for best foreign film. Got cgi and people flying. By famous Chen Kaige of Farewell my concubine(won a globe of best foreign film 93)
well well , can see cecilla cheung(female in distress) and nicholas sze(bad guy) in it..Here can see cecilla crying a lot ,making love with the general and some half naked scenes(1 or 2 ) , some figthing scene ..etc etc..
In my opinion , cecilla is trying hard to act here..but somehow , the camera work made her face white color and ugly..The story is pure fantasy..Including a slave(hero) that can run so fast that he can go back to the past!..The story also not nice and crappy(unwanted animal waste) a little if not a lot.
Nicholas sze is bad guy..And his acting is lacking..Like he is not into the character ?..
Overall..i story lacking , action lacking , acting lacking..but can see cecilla making out with the general (for me 1st time seeing her do that)..that all.
