Are we really that lacking in human resource that banks today are resorting to hiring retarded officers?

i think the bank office left his brain at home...at least he can bring the manager out and sort the issue out there and then.....

the dad made a good move by going to MCA...Too bad, they did not tell which bank and branch...

That the problem with our press nowadays. It's already a fact, what are they afraid off? Getting sued for slander?

I had 11 years of working experience in one of the renowned leasing in KL since 1984, and I have never come across a 8 years boy is asked to stand as guarantor.

Normally we will require the guarantor to furnish his / her I.C., Form J if possible their six months bankstatement. This is one of the credit assessment procedure to determine his / her credit worthiness.

You mean the bank accepted this boy birth certificate as identification.
If this is the case, death certificate will suffice for guarantee purposes.

I think the bank officer or the approving authority ' Chek Sai' ( Eat **** )

I don't think in future they required any graduate to be employed as officer.
Probably primary school qualification is more than enough as primary school children can find more children to stand as guarantor easier than the adult officer.

I smell dead fish in this transaction.

By the way did the 8 years boy signed or thumb printed on the HP agreement,
and who is the witness?

A spokesman for the bank said that following investigations, the bank found that the matter was a mistake and extended its apologies to the boy and his family.

Another human error

how many of u who hv taken a hire purchase actually dealt directly wit d financier all d way s far s d financing is concerned? from my experience, d financier surfaces only when u dont pay up on time. all else d super efficient (hey, they r definitely better than all bankers i know n they hv incentive of quick payment when case is closed???) sales agents kow tim. ask d banks 2 swear they hv actually personally met d borrowers n guarantors ...
