For those staying around puchong area, there are new chinese restaurants/shops opening business in newly built buildings in Puchong jaya, the area where all the banks are and which is just opposite IOI mall.

It has become a food paradise :D due to the large number of chinese eateries.

Let me sidetrack from Chinese cuisine here.
Zainul Nasi Kandar (original one in PJ) has a branch located somewhere in Puchong, perhaps along the old road. Tried to enquire the address but his description just all too vague and puzzling.
Just can't figure out some unfamiliar nook & cranny at Puchong. Tell me Tesco or IOI, sure know lah!. Anyone knows, do enlighten me..I'm too lazy to search.

You can try the new shops there just opened one to two weeks ago. One of them is called 'taiping lang'.... I think they sell taiping food.

You go and explore yourself loh. So many good food around.

One of them is the famous 'yu chi' that is based on shark's fin but made of taufu. It is in jalan kenari.

I only discovered the Bubur Shop next to Chan Sow Lin in Taipan recently! Love their century eggs porridge and most of all the Black Pepper Udon!!!

Been driving around aimlessly in Puchong looking for good food, so far the Bak Kut Teh shop somewhere near the DHL factory is still the best in Puchong.
However, i still prefer the Bak Kut Teh Shop in Kelana Jaya.

Now your talking, by the way whats the name of the shop? Should give me a head start in sniffing out this restraunt.

It is in puchong jaya (the place opposite IOI mall where all the banks are ... Maybank, public bank, hsbc).

I only know it as jalan kenari. It is just behind the HSBC bank. It is an intermediate (not corner) shop and It is next to the kopitiam corner lot called 100 plus.

Their 'taufu' made sharks fin is unique.

Also read my thread on the new pulau ketam fresh seafood, it is also opposite IOi mall but closer (behind) to maybank area.
