Server Components

Does anyone where to get the following component for a server?

The server model is "DELL POWERAGE SC1420" SERVICE TAG - 8XP1S1S

The required components are :

(1)Railing (with screws) to mount 80 GB "Sata" Hard Disk
(2)1.5- 2 Feet Long Data Cable

The reason being, a friend's e-mail server crashed due to virus and they require these components to fix the server.

If someone's got any clue where to get them in the Klang Valley, let me know.

I think it should be "DELL PowerEdge SC1420" series ;)
Since it got the service tag, it's easiest to call Dell directly for help. Dell sure will have those parts available.
Since Dell doesn't go thru any re-seller or distributor, you won't be able to find any parts specific to Dell easily, maybe can try your luck at any 2nd hand computer shop.

Railing to mount HDD? all 3.5" hard disk are standard size, if the railing is specific to Dell only, then try contact Dell or try 2nd hand shop.

Data cable? Issit SCSI or PATA or SATA or USB or Firewire or Serial or Parrallel ? If it's SATA for the hard drive, I doubt you can find a 1.5 - 2 feet long easily. Sata cable standard length is around 1 feet.

Another thing is if the server is crashed due to virus, it's software error/damage. What for they need extra HDD to fix the problem? Virus nowadays can be cleaned easily mah~

Your friend need any help to fix the server or not? I can assist for a small fees :p

Update:
I've check the type of the server
You shouldn't need any railing for the hard drive. This server came with 4 hard drive bays, unless all of the 4 bays are already full and your friend need to mount it at the 5.25" bay. That type of railing can be obtain from most of the computer shop, you may try Lowyat plaza. Sri Computer should have it ;)
You also can try your luck to look for a longer SATA cable there.

I would love to get help from you but the only problem is these components are required by our friend in Sri Lanka. Until they get these components they are on dial up. :D

The server is still relatively new, I'll suggest them to call the Dell's customer support since it should be still under warranty ;)

This friend managed to get spare parts from DELL Singapore. So, I guess case closed!. Thanks Grey Shadow, for all your assistance! ;)
