Wednesday went to Melaka with some friends for food & Photography.
And I notice a beautiful Portuguese Ship right infront of my hotel, so I decided to explore a little bit more what is it all about, then I found out that this ship is Maritme Museum that tells the Glorious Melaka History.

Now lets look at what is inside, I let the photo do the talking!

More Inside!

When I walk out of this museum, I understand why our Portuguese, Dutch and English friends take turn to have fun for 500 years in this BolehLand.

That is not the original ship. It is a replica made by a Malaysian contractor. It is just following the national tradition of structures needing to be repaired soon after it is completed (eg the Putrajaya monument, Bayan Baru expressway, numerous other roads, bridges etc). At least the Flora lasted a few years.

another case of tak apalah...tourists will see the ship and it's treasures, they don't know that months after they were there the buckets remain in service.

don't wanna know what really serious problems the people in charge have to discuss (maybe: "do not tell the tousists that we have haze, they will think it's a throat infection" or the like  )

A national history is the back bone of the country, here we show the tourists around the world we spent millions to build this stupid ship, but have no money to repair the leakage! what you see in the picture is only the tip of the iceberg.
what a pathetic mind set.

Err...not forgetting the freaking Parliament house...national museum n etc.etc ...or go to the Zoo Negara...to see what sorta differences in the way...malaysians run the show here...as compared with the Singapore Zoo...:o

Ahem...no wonder how millions of the tourists from China...have been keeping themselves away from Malaysia...

You all have missed the point. Those 14th century Portuguese galleon must also have some creaky leaks...so to make all the more authentic, buckets and stuff.... :D

Otherwise, tourists would be disappointed with such lack of details
