Anyone knows of any shop around klang valley selling this dish? I'm talking about the authentic Penang Style Hokkien char not the more commonly known fukkien chow....

I think tis dish u can get it at penang village / little penang .. common place u can see tis kinda shops is at those complexes like the curve, midvalley and etc ..

Usually i don't call for tis kinda dish there , cos my mom cooks very nice hokkien char than them .. :D

lucky you..but usually the standards of these food is not up to par... i was wondering if you have encounter the stalls selling this dish in food court or in chinese restaurants..

You should check out Penang Village. The Mont Kiara outlet has better cooks comparing to the one in Taipan. I've just tried it today.
Hokkien Char Kueh Teow was good. We ordered some other dishes like pandan leaf chicken, pai-tees, otak-otak, fish garoupa, nasi lemak (this is great stuff!), cendols in all kinda flavours, rojak and sago with coconut milk. All very satisfactory.

Usually tis kinda hokkien char , u can only get it from penang ppl who really cooks penang food ... other than that .. i dun think so its nice !!

Hey, there 1 penang rest. in uSJ 21 facing the car park area .. maybe u can go there n check out their hokkien char .. their food is jz ateable :) it's jz at the corner only ..

There's this Penang restaurant in Pyramid (outside facing main road) sells hokkien char. Last time I tried was ok. Donno if it's still the same.
