Best of the Best in Malaysia!

The Best of Chinese Cuisine will soon make their appearance in Kuala Lumpur!!

Foodtech 2002 Take note Chinese food connoisseurs! Malaysia will be hosting the 4th World Championship of Chinese Cuisine at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This is organized by the World Association of Chinese Cuisine and the Malaysian Selangor & Federal Territory Ku Su Shin Choong Hung Restaurant Association, with Honorary Co-Organizers the Pan Malaysia Koo Soo Restaurants and Chefs Association, the Chefs Association of Malaysia and the Malaysian Food & Beverage Executives Association. True to its international status, to-date 1,000 chefs from 25 countries have confirmed attendance, and more than 500 of them have confirmed participation in the Championship.

There will also be the 1st Malaysian Wine Challenge, which will see the world’s favourite labels being judged by a panel comprising international and local wine connoisseurs.

Another exciting event will be the Wine Route, which will be an exciting educational experience in wine appreciation, and a Cooking Theatre that will feature sizzling live demonstrations by local and foreign chefs. There will also be Master Classes and Seminars for the public and people from the trade to share and learn in an informative environment plus many other gastronomic activities.

In conjunction with the above activities, about 400 exhibitors comprising manufacturers, suppliers, franchise folders and distributors of food, beverages, related equipment and services will present their products at Foodtech Malaysia from 27 to 30 June 2002. Positioned as one of the best gastronomic shows in Malaysia, Foodtech Malaysia will cover 2 exhibition halls in PWTC with an area of close to 7,000 square metres.
